I can say from over 20 years of seeing everyone around eating these mushrooms i have never seen or heard of someone gettn sick from it. My family and frienda eat them by the lbs. We parboil them, then sautee them. Yesterday I had some on a pizza. Friday I had them sauteed with garlic, then shoved between the skin and meat on chicken thighs.
